In PlayInStore, we decided that music and video must be managed by the same player, for the following reasons:

• This, allows both media to be managed as one, interacting in the airplay mix of the store. This way, we have the ability to maintain the audio channel of the video muted and mix it at any time with the audio and send it to the store’s main speaker system and vice versa, maximizing the utilization and the impact of  your message to your clientele.
• We reduce the cost of installation (rack space, connections, power consumption) and of course the cost of programming two different systems and devices.
• Video management works both as video monitor as well as digital banner (still picture on the monitor or with limited animation)
• System can work with various screen sizes, (7’’, 10’’ and 15’’ and above) so it can be placed over shelves and cashiers. Wifi connection and USB power, allows operation without any additonal cables!

D.I.S.Play, works with tiny computers called D.I.S.Players και D.I.S.Players mini.

It is about a dedicated and specially designed computer, running on greatly custom-modified Linux distribution and our D.I.S.Play software. The D.I.S.Players, offer the following advantages:

• The D.I.S.Player, has very small size (like an external HDD drive).
• Especially the D.I.S.Player mini, is 6Χ8 cm and weighs only 50 grams, still boasting exceptional HD 1080 video.
• Both being small and lightweight can be placed behind any monitor. They don’t even need power external power supply, can be powered by the monitor’s or TV’s USB port.
• They don’t have any moving parts or fans of any kind, they don’t collect dust and they never brake down.
• They both consume minimal power (< 6 watts)
• HD 1080p video output (still  image or video)
• Connection is provided by LAN of Wifi.
